Need more speakers to connect and make your home a music mecca? There are plenty on the market these days; definitely shop around to get the best deal but be sure you're also getting volume and fullness of the music you want, too. These steps apply to Samsung devices running Android 8 and higher. The settings options layout may look a little different depending on your version.

When you connect Google Home to Bluetooth speakers, all music that you command through Google Home plays on the Bluetooth device. After pairing just play music on your Bluetooth speaker and your Google speaker will play the same music automatically. Pair two speakers for stereo sound

Google Assistant can recognize up to six different users. By virtue of this provision, each of these people can run their own separate account on a single Home device. In order to make the most of this feature, however, you need to use Voice Match. Essentially, this feature teaches the AI assistant to match the different voices to its different users. Step 4. Control the stereo pair
Assistant settings, device settings, and sound settings apply to the stereo pair and can't be changed on individual speakers. If you have two Google Home or Nest Home smart speakers you can create a left/right stereo pairing -- even if they aren't the same color. To setup, users can pair any Bluetooth speaker with Google Home and then head to the companion app to set it as the default. Afterwards, any command given to the Assistant device will automatically play audio through the set speaker without having to specify. At the moment, users can stream music from a phone, tablet, or computer to a Google Home over Bluetooth. That connectivity now works both ways with Home able to pair and stream music to other speakers.
Once you've made your choice, you can move onto the next step. It's also worth getting each person to set up voice match properly to train Google Assistant to recognise the different voices in the home. Audio will begin to play in sync on any devices selected. At times, you might want to listen to some cool music while another Home member wants something more upbeat. While this is not exactly easy with Google Home devices, it is far from impossible.

It's worth noting that if people aren't expecting to hear the message they might be taken off guard, so it's worth ensuring you grab their attention first. "OK Google, broadcast listen up everyone, it's time for dinner" is bound to get feet dashing to the dinner table. At the bottom left corner of your screen, tap Devices to find a list of available devices. You can add as many Google Home devices to one account as you need to. This makes it easy to operate the devices as they all appear in one Google Home app.
Your smartphone can only connect to one speaker, so you'll need participation from friends and family to make it work. From there you'll also see which devices are included and are capable of recognising your voice. Then as long as the voice is recognised, the right account will be used for each person in the home, giving a much more personal experience. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same accountas your Google Nest or Home speaker. You may have to go back and set up the speaker you had on the right channel again. It will be listed under Local devices at the bottom of the Google Home app with the name you originally gave it. Open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet and tap on one of the two speakers you want to pair. Or how about this -- whether you use a Mac, PC or Chromebook, a pair of Google Homes will sound just as good if not better than dedicated computer speakers.
If you don't get a notification, open the Google Home app and tap the bubble that says "Set up 1 device" at the top. Choose which home you want to add this device to (you'll probably only have one). As it's linked to your Google account, reminders, shopping lists and your calendar are synced across all devices. If you set a reminder on one Google Home/Nest device, you'll get a notification light on the others at the specific time to nudge you about it at the appropriate time. This functionality doesn't require multiple Google Home devices, but it's certainly worth setting up if you do have a few. Unfortunately, Google does not support multi-room audio for other things you might like.

There's plenty of functionality that works across multiple Google Nest/Home devices that makes having more than one worthwhile. Repeat the process until all the devices are attached to your account and up and running. Start by downloading the Google Home app for your mobile device (if you haven't already) and make sure your Google Home or Nest devices are plugged in and turned on. Audio will immediately stop to play on that device. Media will immediately stop to play on that device.

Tapping one of these notifications will begin the process of teaching Assistant your voice. You must say the phrases "Hey, Google" and "OK, Google" twice each. TapContinue, then tap Invite if you want to add someone else to the Google Home. If Google Home can't find your speaker, verify the speaker is in pairing mode and, if there's a physical switch to enable Bluetooth, that the switch is in the on position.
